Heidi's Legacy Dog Rescue was founded in 2002 in memory of Heidi, a German Shepherd who was abandoned and left to die. Inspired by her experience with Heidi, founder Lori Hoffman dedicated this organization to rescuing and placing unwanted companion dogs. Staffed entirely by passionate volunteers, the mission is to save as many lives as possible and ensure each dog receives the love and care they deserve.
Since its inception, Heidi's Legacy Dog Rescue has successfully helped thousands of companion dogs find loving homes. The organization provides essential medical care, socialization, and training to prepare these dogs for adoption, enriching the lives of both the animals and their adoptive families.
