Hearts for the Invisible

Our Story

Founded in the summer of 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, Hearts for the Invisible Charlotte Coalition emerged from the compassion of Jessica Lefkowitz, who began serving a growing homeless encampment in Charlotte after being laid off. This grassroots organization has since supported over 200 individuals by providing food, job placements, and transportation to essential services.

Impact

Through dedicated efforts, the organization has successfully navigated individuals into emergency shelters and provided essential survival supplies, significantly impacting the lives of those experiencing homelessness in Charlotte.
