Heartlinks: A Legacy of Compassionate Care
Founded in 1978, Heartlinks, formerly known as Lower Valley Hospice, emerged from the vision of five dedicated professionals inspired by the pioneering work of Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross. This group established one of the first hospices in the United States, dedicated to providing compassionate care for those facing life-threatening illnesses. In 1983, Heartlinks became one of the first Medicare-certified hospices in Washington, setting a standard for quality care.
