For over 40 years, Heartland Senior Services has been dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors in Central Iowa. Originally founded as The Story County Council on Aging in 1974, this organization has evolved to provide vital services such as Adult Day Care, transportation, and nutritious meals. A significant partnership with Mary Greeley Medical Center in 2017 enhanced the Meals on Wheels program, ensuring that seniors receive the nourishment they need. With a new facility set to open in 2024, Heartland continues to expand its reach and impact.
