Heartland Court Appointed Special Advocates, known as Heartland CASA, has been dedicated to supporting abused and neglected children in Hall, Hamilton, Howard, and Merrick Counties since 1995.

In 2018, Heartland CASA volunteers advocated for 53 children, helping them find safe and permanent homes. These children exited foster care an average of 4.5 months sooner than those without CASA support, significantly reducing the likelihood of re-entering the system.
