Our Story
In 1991, seven women united to form The Committee to End Elder Homelessness, addressing the urgent need for housing solutions for older adults. Recognizing that health and home are intertwined, Hearth has become a leader in tackling elder homelessness.
Our Impact
Hearth currently operates 228 units of permanent affordable housing, serving over 460 older adults annually in Greater Boston. Since its inception, Hearth has successfully housed nearly 3,000 homeless and housing-insecure elders.
