Heart of Dinner: Nourishing Community and Connection

Founded in New York City during the COVID-19 pandemic, Heart of Dinner emerged to combat loneliness and food insecurity among Asian American older adults. What began as a supper club has transformed into a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, delivering culturally thoughtful care packages filled with nutritious food and heartfelt handwritten notes to Elders in need.

Impacting Lives, One Meal at a Time

As of August 2024, Heart of Dinner serves over 650 Elders weekly, having delivered more than 200,000 meals and love notes, fostering a vibrant intergenerational community of thousands of volunteers.
