Our Story
Heart and Hands Ministries of Bell County began in the early 1990s when a local pastor and his wife recognized a pressing need in the Salado community. They took action by distributing the first bag of food from a small church building. Over the years, with the dedication of committed volunteers and the power of prayer, the organization has grown alongside the community. In 2017, Heart and Hands relocated to a larger facility at 213 Mill Creek Drive, allowing for greater outreach and support. Securing 501(c)(3) status in April 2021 marked a significant milestone, enabling even more collaboration with local churches and generous individuals. Today, Heart and Hands Ministries continues to adapt and respond to the evolving needs of Salado and its surrounding areas.
