Our Story

In 1985, a tragic rise in poor birth outcomes in Palm Beach County prompted community leaders, including Dr. Carl Brumback, Dr. Marsha J. Fishbane, and Dr. David W. Martin, to establish the Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition. This initiative aimed to provide accessible prenatal care to every woman in need. From humble beginnings as a volunteer-driven organization, HMHB has grown to employ 67 dedicated professionals, serving over 10,000 expectant mothers annually.
