The Healthy Heart Community Prevention Project, Inc. was established in 2002 in Louisiana, evolving from a pilot program initiated in 1994. Coordinated by Dr. Daphne Ferdinand, this initiative aims to reduce cardiovascular risks and enhance health screening in the African American community of New Orleans.
