It is estimated Healthy Communities of Brownsville Inc impacted over 60000 community members through its health, educational and environmental groups. Through its website, newspaper and magazine articles and monthly community participation meetings it is raising awareness on the issues its community members are addressing on: obesity and teen pregnancy prevention, mental health, student mentoring, recycling and litter prevention including compiling baseline data research in several of these areas.
