Our Story
Healthcare Ready was established in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, uniting healthcare supply chain organizations to improve disaster response. Since 2007, the nonprofit has focused on building resilient communities capable of preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters and disease outbreaks.
Our Impact
During emergencies, Healthcare Ready operates its Emergency Operations Center (EOC), coordinating responses and supporting healthcare organizations and affected patients. Tools like Rx Open ensure communities have access to essential medications during crises.
