Our Story
Founded in 1999, Healthcare for the Homeless - Houston emerged to address the urgent need for accessible healthcare services for Houston's most vulnerable populations. Starting as a modest two-exam room clinic, it has expanded to three integrated care clinics, offering co-located medical care, mental health support, addiction counseling, and comprehensive dental care. In 2021, the organization launched the Reed Family Clinic, dedicated to serving children and families affected by homelessness, promoting whole-family wellness and culturally responsive care.
