About Health Information Project

Health Information Project (HIP) is dedicated to empowering youth through a peer-to-peer health education model in high schools. Founded by Risa Berrin, HIP aims to ensure that every child in the U.S. is healthy—physically and emotionally.

Impact of Health Information Project

HIP has partnered with over 100 high schools, training over 24,500 student peer health educators and impacting more than 490,000 9th grade students. The program has significantly improved students' self-esteem and overall school experience.
