Our Story

Health and Education for Vietnamese Youth (HEVY) was established in 2017 to honor the legacy of Joe Bodanza, who dedicated his life to helping underprivileged children in Vietnam. After witnessing a young boy suffering from polio, Joe sponsored his medical treatment in the U.S. This act of kindness inspired him to bring 50 Vietnamese children to the U.S. for medical care. Today, HEVY continues this mission, providing essential medical and educational support to Vietnamese youth.
