In 1996, Cale Siler, after facing the emotional challenges of being exposed to the HIV virus, organized a successful raft trip for individuals with AIDS. This experience led to the founding of Healing Waters, dedicated to empowering those with chronic illnesses through transformative wilderness adventures.
