Our Story

The Healing Place was founded in 1989 as a homeless shelter and medical clinic for men. Over the years, it has evolved into a nationally-recognized recovery program that provides food, shelter, clothing, and comprehensive recovery services to nearly 1,000 individuals at no cost.

Impact

With a remarkable success rate, 91% of clients reported illegal drug use at intake, which dropped to just 19% at follow-up. Additionally, only 4% of clients reported homelessness after completing the program, compared to 31% at intake.
