Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations
EIN: 91-1449848 · Spokane Valley, WA
Our Story
In 1986, the Seven Nations united to address the urgent need for a chemical dependency treatment solution for their youth. Recognizing the power of collaboration, they pooled their limited resources to create a cooperative program. With the support of Indian Health Services (IHS), the Inland Tribal Consortium (ITC) Youth Treatment Program was established in 1988, later becoming the Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations. Chosen for its central location among various Indian Tribes, Spokane became one of the 12 IHS Regional Youth Treatment Centers. Over the years, the program has expanded to serve all youth, both Native and non-Native, and in 2017, HL7N enhanced its offerings by adding a comprehensive outpatient behavioral health facility.
Our Impact
The Healing Lodge provides holistic wrap-around services for adolescents struggling with substance abuse and mental health disorders, aiming to create healthy and contributing members of their communities.
