About Healing Hearts for Community Development

Healing Hearts for Community Development (HHCD) is a faith-based non-profit organization established in 2005 by Celebration Church to address the social and emotional needs of the New Orleans Metropolitan Area. Following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, HHCD reopened the Celebration Hope Center, expanding its services to include mental health counseling and trauma recovery. Over the years, HHCD has provided essential support to thousands of individuals and families through its comprehensive programs.

Impact of Our Work

In the past two years, the Celebration Hope Center has served over 500 clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. Additionally, HHCD's Prevention Program has reached over 3,000 students, educating them on drug and violence prevention, gambling risks, and the opioid epidemic.
