Our Story

Headwaters at Incarnate Word is a nonprofit Earth care ministry of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, dedicated to preserving, restoring, and celebrating the natural, cultural, historical, spiritual, and educational values of the headwaters of the San Antonio River. This 53-acre nature sanctuary serves as a tranquil space for reflection, education, and community engagement.
