The HBCU Founders Initiative, launched by Nex Cubed, is dedicated to empowering entrepreneurs from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). By fostering diversity in ideas and perspectives, this initiative engages students, alumni, and faculty in creating technology-driven solutions that address critical issues in healthcare, education, and financial services.
To date, over 1,200 students and alumni from more than 80 HBCUs have participated in the HBCU Founders Initiative. The goal is to support over 5,000 HBCU students and alumni in their entrepreneurial pursuits over the next five years, significantly contributing to closing the racial wealth gap.
