Our Story

In 2023, Adamah emerged from the merger of Hazon and Pearlstone, both of which have rich histories in promoting sustainability and Jewish values. The Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center, founded in 1893, and Hazon, established in 2000, have united to mobilize the Jewish community in confronting the climate crisis through immersive experiences that connect nature and Jewish wisdom.

Impact

Adamah hosts 6,000 overnight guests annually, while Pearlstone welcomes 8,000 retreat guests and 10,000 visitors. National programming reaches over 15,000 people each year, with plans for Community Impact Hubs in major Jewish communities across North America.
