Our Story
Founded in 1969 by the Women's Literary Club, Hayswood Theatre has been a cornerstone of cultural growth in Corydon, Indiana. The theatre began its journey in the historic First State Capitol Building, captivating audiences with reenactments of 1820s trials. Over the years, the Hayswood Players have graced various stages, including the Harrison Grange Hall, presenting a diverse array of published plays. With unwavering support from the community and a dedicated Board of Directors, Hayswood Theatre continues to thrive, bringing the magic of live performances to life.
