Located on the Big Island of Hawaii and Oahu, HLRI focuses on protecting endangered species, sequestering carbon, and recharging watersheds.
Impact
HLRI has successfully planted over 400,000 native trees, creating nearly 1,200 acres of pristine native habitat, re-establishing critical habitats for many endemic Hawaiian species.
