Our Story

The Hawaiian Canoe Club, founded in 1960 by John M. Lake and 25 charter members, is dedicated to preserving the art of Hawaiian canoe paddling. This organization promotes personal growth, character development, and physical fitness through traditional Hawaiian values.

Impact

Through the Hawaiian Kamali’i Summer Enrichment Program, hundreds of keiki engage in learning Hawaiian culture, leadership, and ocean safety, fostering a deep connection to their heritage.
