Since 1946, the Hawaii School Nutrition Association has dedicated itself to ensuring that all of Hawaii’s keiki have access to healthful school meals and nutrition education. Affiliated with the School Nutrition Association, this organization represents the nutritional interests of children across the state, providing essential training and resources to school nutrition professionals.
Throughout the school year, cafeteria staff work diligently to provide nutritious meals to children. This summer, the Kaukau 4 Keiki program is delivering weekly meal kits to children aged 18 and under in selected rural communities, ensuring they receive fresh, healthy food that meets USDA meal requirements.
