The Hawaii Law Enforcement Memorial Foundation was established in February 2010 to honor the brave law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Inspired by Joan Gribbin-Aiu, whose daughter lost her father, a Honolulu Police Department officer, in a tragic helicopter crash, the foundation is dedicated to creating a lasting tribute to these heroes.
This foundation is actively working towards the construction of a memorial that will serve as a place for families and the community to remember and pay tribute to Hawaii's fallen law enforcement officers.
