Our Story

The Hawaii Ballroom Dance Association, founded in 1959 by Eugene and Harriet Ichinose, has become one of Hawaii's largest ballroom dance organizations. With six chapters across Oahu, Big Island, and Maui, HBDA is dedicated to promoting and teaching dance, enriching the lives of the people of Hawaii.

Impact

HBDA has made significant contributions to the community, earning recognition as the 'Best Ballroom Dance Lessons' in the 2009 Honolulu Magazine Best of Honolulu Awards. This highlights the organization's commitment to fostering a vibrant dance culture in Hawaii.
