Our Story

Founded in 2018, Havenly began as a food business aimed at creating job training programs for refugee and immigrant women trapped in poverty. After two years of operating in borrowed kitchen spaces, Havenly proudly opened its own café and training center in Downtown New Haven. This space serves as a nurturing home for refugee and immigrant women, allowing them to lead their own movement for change.

Impact

To date, 95 women have graduated from the Havenly Fellowship, with 80% securing employment and 60% actively engaged in community organizing.
