Our Story

Haven House has been a beacon of hope for victims of domestic violence in Blount County since 1983. Founded by a dedicated group of women from 45 churches and the Junior Chilhowee Club, the organization opened its first shelter on April 11, 1983. Over the years, it has grown to provide essential services, including emergency shelter for up to 17 women and children.
