Our Story

Founded in 1957, Harwood Center began as a United Cerebral Palsy Day Care center and has evolved into a comprehensive educational program for children with developmental disabilities. Partnering with the University of Tennessee’s Boling Center for Developmental Disabilities, Harwood Center has expanded its services to include various developmental and behavioral therapies.

Impact

Since its inception, Harwood Center has positively impacted over 6,000 children, providing essential therapeutic services that enhance their development and learning.
