Our Story

Harweyn Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by Somali refugees who transformed their experiences into a mission to help others. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this initiative is driven by a mother and daughter duo who understand the struggles of displaced individuals. With a dedicated team of 50 volunteers across America and Africa, Harweyn Foundation provides life-changing assistance to vulnerable populations, particularly children separated from their families.
