Our Story

In 2004, two compassionate women, Carrington Connelly and Martha Houck, united their efforts to create the Harvest Outreach Center. Their mission was clear: to empower children in need by equipping them with essential life skills. Carrington, an educator, recognized the struggles of her students in applying advanced thinking skills, while Martha, a counselor, provided insights into the emotional challenges these children faced. Together, they founded this nonprofit to ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Harvest Outreach Center serves approximately 350 children and families daily, offering vital mental health services and support to high-risk youth in the community.
