Our Story

Founded in 2012, the Hartford Gay Men’s Chorus is a vibrant ensemble of over 50 voices, celebrated for its exceptional musicianship and creative programming. Under the guidance of Artistic Director Christopher Clark and Executive Director Robert Reader, the chorus harnesses the power of music to inspire and enrich the lives of its members and the community. As an openly gay organization, HGMC proudly represents the LGBTQ+ community through impactful partnerships and performances at various events.
