Our Story

The Hartford Artisans Weaving Center was founded in 2009 by Fran Curran, Dorrie Hunt, and Claudia Spaulding, alongside dedicated volunteers. This vibrant community enriches lives through the art of hand-weaving, focusing on individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or over 55.
