Since 1969, the Hanover Adams Rehabilitation and Training Center, known as the H.A.R.T. Center, has been a beacon of hope for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities, as well as mental health disorders. Founded by a dedicated group of parents in Gettysburg, this nonprofit organization has evolved to provide essential vocational training and community inclusion opportunities. Now located in New Oxford, the H.A.R.T. Center has successfully supported hundreds of individuals in their journey towards becoming productive members of society.
