Our Story
Harleston Neighbor2Neighbor began its journey in 2014, inspired by a neighborhood meeting at the home of John Milkereit. This gathering of passionate neighbors led to the formation of a group dedicated to the Village concept, originally established in Beacon Hill, Boston. The mission is clear: to assist residents in staying in their homes and enjoying the vibrant Harleston Village community for as long as possible.
Initially envisioned as a service organization, surveys revealed that the residents were more interested in social and educational activities. Today, HN2N proudly boasts over 300 members who engage in monthly gatherings at 60 Bull Café for Happy Hour, along with various events such as garden tours and food truck parties. Lectures on historical topics by local experts further enrich the community experience.
