Our Story
DREAM, originally known as Harlem RBI, was founded in 1991 when dedicated volunteers transformed an abandoned lot in East Harlem into vibrant baseball diamonds for local youth. Over the years, the organization has expanded its mission to tackle educational inequities, launching a charter school and various community programs that foster children's academic and personal growth.
Impact
Today, DREAM serves over 2,600 youth annually, boasting an impressive 96% graduation rate at its charter high school and significant improvements in social-emotional learning among its students.
