Slaughterhouse Survivors Animal Rescue began in 2016 with a courageous rescue of dogs from a local slaughterhouse. Since then, it has evolved into a dedicated nonprofit organization focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing animals from the illegal dog meat trade and other abusive situations in Harbin, China.
With over 4000 animals rescued from neglect and abuse, SHS provides essential medical care and rehabilitation, ensuring these animals find loving homes. The organization also advocates for animal welfare and educates the public about the needs of animals.
