Our Story

Happy Trails Animal Rescue, founded in 2013, is a dedicated nonprofit organization located in Central Florida. With a mission to rescue and rehabilitate dogs from local shelters, the organization has made a significant impact in the community. In 2019, the opening of the Community Resource Center marked a pivotal moment, providing essential resources and support to pet owners, ultimately aiming to reduce overpopulation and keep pets in loving homes.

Impact

Since its inception, Happy Trails Animal Rescue has assisted over 22,164 animals, including 609 successful adoptions and 174 freedom rides from shelters. The organization has also provided food and supplies to over 19,957 dogs and cats through its pet pantry.
