Our Story

The Hanover Area Historical Society was established by dedicated local citizens committed to safeguarding and promoting the rich historical heritage of the greater Hanover area. Through community support, the Society has successfully purchased and restored several historical sites, including the Neas House and the Warehime-Myers Mansion. Additionally, the Society has opened the Hanover Area History Museum and relocated its research library to the Hormel History and Research Center.
