About Hands of Hope Clinic

Established in 2004, Hands of Hope Clinic is the only charitable provider of medical, dental, and mental health counseling services in Henry County, Georgia. Founded on Christian principles, the clinic was inspired by Janet Turner's vision to address the healthcare needs of uninsured, low-income residents who lack access to Medicare, Medicaid, or VA benefits.

Our Journey

Since its inception, Hands of Hope Clinic has grown significantly, starting from humble beginnings at McDonough Presbyterian Church to a fully staffed, full-time clinic on the Piedmont Henry Hospital campus. With the support of dedicated staff and volunteers, the clinic has provided life-changing care to over 6,313 patients through more than 30,976 visits.

Impact

Hands of Hope Clinic continues to reduce healthcare inequities and enhance the overall health of the community. Each visit represents hope and healing for those who would otherwise go without essential medical care.
