Handmade Arcade was founded in 2004 by a group of seven crafty women who envisioned a vibrant DIY and indie craft fair. The inaugural market featured 30 talented makers and attracted over 1,000 enthusiastic shoppers. Since then, Handmade Arcade has blossomed into a significant platform for local artisans, receiving 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2017 and hosting multiple markets each year.
Handmade Arcade has successfully connected over 3,000 maker businesses with more than 215,000 shoppers, generating over $4 million in self-reported maker sales at events.
