Our Story

The Hampton Bays Library Association was established in 1922, evolving through various locations until the Hampton Bays Public Library opened its doors in 1960. Initially operating from a rented storefront on Main Street, the library soon moved to its current location at the corner of Ponquogue Avenue and Argonne Road. Governed by a dedicated Board of Trustees, the library is committed to providing high-quality services to the community.
