Empowering Community Leaders in Hamilton County

Established in 1991, the Hamilton County Leadership Academy (HCLA) was born from a vision to cultivate a pool of knowledgeable community leaders. This initiative began within the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce, where Ruth Anne Nunamaker and local leaders, including attorney Doug Church, recognized the need for a structured leadership program. Today, HCLA offers a comprehensive 10-month curriculum designed to explore local issues and prepare graduates for active roles in addressing the challenges facing Hamilton County.

Impacting the Community

HCLA graduates emerge as informed and engaged leaders, actively contributing to civic groups, non-profits, government agencies, and elected offices throughout Hamilton County.
