Our Story

The Hamburg Natural History Society was founded in 1993 by passionate environmental activists and scientists. Since acquiring the former Penn-Dixie Cement Quarry in 1995, the organization has dedicated itself to preserving this unique fossil site and fostering a hands-on approach to natural sciences.
