Our Story

In 1991, Sarah Pinshaw, just three years old, contracted meningitis, leading to permanent neurological impairment. Her family's journey through her illness and eventual institutionalization inspired the creation of the Help A Little One Foundation (H.A.L.O.). This nonprofit is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children like Sarah, who reside in pediatric nursing homes across Massachusetts. Family members continue to support Sarah, celebrating her small victories and ensuring she feels loved and cared for.
