Our Story

Founded in 1886 by a dedicated group of women, Hall Neighborhood House has been a cornerstone of the East Side of Bridgeport. This nonprofit organization is committed to providing comprehensive services that educate, enrich, and empower residents of all ages. With a focus on community, education, and support, Hall Neighborhood House continues to uplift the lives of those in the surrounding areas.

Impact

Each year, Hall Neighborhood House serves over 250 infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, along with more than 500 youth and 100 senior citizens. The organization conducts over 1,000 wellness screenings annually and has delivered thousands of meals and grocery bags to seniors during the pandemic, showcasing its commitment to community health.
