Our Story

Halfway Home Animal Rescue Team, founded in 2019, is an all-volunteer organization committed to making a difference in the lives of animals in need. Located in New Jersey, this passionate group of rescuers and advocates provides a nurturing environment for homeless animals recovering from traumatic circumstances. Each animal receives individualized care to meet their medical, emotional, behavioral, and nutritional needs, ensuring they are ready for permanent homes.

Impact

Primarily focused on dogs and cats, Halfway Home Animal Rescue Team also assists rabbits, chickens, and even a turkey rescued from a dumpster. With no time limits for any animal, the team is dedicated to giving every creature “as long as it takes” to find the loving home they deserve.
