Pittsburgh sisters Jamie and Ali McMutrie moved to Port-au-Prince in 2002 and 2006, witnessing firsthand the devastating effects of poverty on families. Haitian Families First was established to nurture and empower families in despair, ensuring that children remain with their biological families and out of unnecessary institutions. By providing emotional, social, and financial support, the organization helps families thrive.
